About Pete
The political environment in Washington, DC is unforgiving on a good day. Pete successfully led two complex organizations in DC during some incredibly tough days. He navigated high-level leadership through a pandemic that coincided with the busiest hurricane and wildfire seasons on record.
Pete’s experience includes serving as FEMA Administrator, serving as the acting Secretary for Department of Homeland Security during the Trump Administration, a Director for both state and local emergency management agencies, and 26 years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
